Coach
Ribordy has been dedicated to the sport of wrestling
for a number of years. He has been involved
competitively in the sport since the age of five.
His credits include several high school records,
state runner-up and an Idaho State Championship
title. After graduating from Emmett High School, he
wrestled at North Idaho College before transferring
to the University of Idaho. While attending U of I
he coached youth programs, conducted private lessons
and was an assistant coach at Moscow High School in
Moscow, ID.
After graduating
from the university with a degree in biology, Coach
Ribordy and his wife moved to Angleton, TX to teach
and coach.
For the last five
years he has been the Head Wrestling Coach at KO. He
takes great pride in the progress the wrestlers have
made individually as well as the achievements they
have attained as a team.
Ribordy feels
fortunate to be part of the Klein Oak Wrestling
program in its developing stages. "It has the two
most important components necessary to continue a
successful wrestling tradition - committed athletes
and strong parental support."
Coach Ribordy lives
with his wife Jen and their daughter, Addison, in
Spring. |
