Varsity - Coach Jeremy Rodgers
I
am originally from Seattle, WA and graduated from Northwest University
in 2005, majoring in English. My wife and I moved to Texas in 2007
where I have coached Basketball and Volleyball for the past 3 years at
Oak. My soccer experience began as a rec player at age 5. In junior
high and high school I competed on two select teams, an indoor league
in the fall and outdoor during the summer. My high school team was
sub-par but I enjoyed it nonetheless. After high school graduation I
went on to play during my two years of Community College, sharpening
my skills as a midfielder. Finally, my experience as a player extends
to current indoor play in Houston.
With over 21 years of
experience as a player, I not only learned the important skills
necessary to the sport, but also team dynamics that lead to success. I
look forward to the opportunity to blend the natural talent of our
players with the discipline and work ethic worthy of the world’s most
popular sport. My expectations are high for all the athletes, and
those expectations will be clearly outlined once the final roster is
assembled.
