Klein Oak Basketball

 
Tommy grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Alief Hastings High School. He attended Howard Payne University located in Brownwood, Texas where he received a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. 

After graduation he received the Graduate Assistant/ JV coaching position. Tommy then entered the public school system coaching junior high basketball and football in Willis, Texas. After 3 years in Willis, he moved to Blanket, Texas and spent the next four years as the head basketball coach as well as the head six man football coach. He next moved to Flatonia, Texas, where he was the head basketball coach and won the bi district championship. Tommy then received a 4A head coaching job in Conroe at Caney Creek High School. He returned to southeast Texas as the head basketball coach for the Hallettsville Brahmas for one year before arriving in Frisco to be the Varsity Assistant Coach at Centennial High School. He spent the next 3 years at Centennial
